Beswick House hosted Dinner & a Movie - But We're the Movie event. This was a more than casual Read-Thru for the Director and Cast, featuring catering by the Organic Hispanic which included Do-It Yourself Bar-B-Q Pizzas. This helped convey to the actors that this production is going to be a hands-on team event. That's what gives independent films the soul that lacks in so many big-budget movies.

It was an intense and fairly emotional 3+ hour sit down rehearsal, narrated by Beswick House VP and Executive Producer of this film - Ron Kubota. The whole atmosphere was quite comfortable, and leading Co-Stars Davin Turchiano and Shiloh Goddard were able to play the newly introduced Chris and Martha Lorraine with realism, having just personally been introduced at this Read-Thru.

Creative and Assistant Director, Brian LeBlanc, was on hand to showcase photographs taken throughout SouthEastern Oregon and northward along the John Day River. LeBlanc and Levi Anderson, Director, had gone location scouting during the previous winter. These photographs showcased the beauty and escapism that can hide in the great wide open.
